Rosendo Gallardo Romualdo (Azucar) has been performing dance since the age of 6. Born In Acapulco he continued his performance in Salsa, Cumbia and Tango during his teen years in Mexico City. Once he moved to the coastal area of Mazatlan and in the last 15 years in Puerto Vallarta, he has been teaching professionally in group classes to children and adults as well as private lessons. His stage name “Azucar “which is ‘Sugar’ in English, reflects his sweet patient style of teaching and his joyful vibrant personality. He is visiting Vancouver for the summer and has made himself available as a guest teacher for introductory Salsa.
